Journal Entry:
What a surprise, fireworks in the daylight are better than at night!?!?! I went to the fireworks show because I wanted to be able to complain about fireworks in the day light (since it doesn't get dark here this time of year). The show started at midnight, and it was your standard fireworks display. What surprised me was that the daylight made the fireworks seem more fragile, more magical, but at the same time more real. You could see the smoke trails, but that just added another dimension. I think I enjoyed this display a lot more than I have any other for a long time.
