As you aproach Siwa you see some grass and scrub growth, then suddenly you are surounded by palms.

In Siwa checked into the hotel, and met some other people from the bus. Ended up going to dinner with two French girls who now live in Palestine and a couple (him French, her Lebaneese but living in Quebec).
