Journal Entry:
Slept in (curtains, a/c!), Joy and Dean went down to the harbor to book the ship for the car to Cape Town. Stu and I sat around reading. Lunch in Douala then headed South. Had some trouble finding a hotel that would let us camp (guide book says camping on the beach or off the road is very dangerous here). Finally found a place a couple miles out of town - right on the beach though. Cooked diner and hung out playing cards in the beachfront restaurant.
