Journal Entry:
Spent the day wandering around Fès. Did a good job of getting lost (Fès is rather large), but then miraculously ended up someplace that I recognized. Had lunch and ran into Rob, an America doctor we'd met yesterday, and Sam a Peace Corps volunteer.

Caught a taxi back to the ville nouvau (where we stayed last night) to catch the five o'clock bus to Meknès. While buying the ticket through to Er Rachidia (another all nighter - yea!) we found out that we could take a seven o'clock bus. There's nothing around the Meknès station so it's better to waste the time here in Fès. Unfortunately there's nothing to do around the Fès station either - we ended up walking until we found a passable patisserie. In Meknès we ran into another Peace Corps volunteer and talked with her for a while. Tried to find someplace to walk to but it was cold and there was nothing. The bus ended up running about thirty minutes late.
