Wineries:
Drove about 300 kilometers, mostly through green (andvery flat) farmland. Pulled into Port Augusta about an hour after sunset and found a hotel. Had dinner in the pub and called it a night. Unfortunately I could just barely hear the music (I assumed from the pub). I decided to read until the music was over - but gave up and tried to sleep after two. (It turned out that the music wasn't from the pub - it was piped all over the city 24 hours a day!).
