Tony's Travels: Useful Travel Links
Last Updated:

US State Department: Bureau of Consular Affairs
The US State Department's home page. This is the page I use most while traveling. Consular Info Sheets for every nation, plus the most current Travel Warnings issued by the State Department.
Center for Disease Control and Prevention
The Travel Information page carries information on needed imunizations, information on recent outbreaks, etc.
TRIP.COM's Personal Travel Clinic
Not quite as scary as the CDC's page. You enter when / where you are going, how long you'll be there, and what you'll be doing and it spits out recomendations for immunizations and preventative medications.
Lonely Planet On-line
From arguably the worlds leading guidebook publisher. Lot of information and updates to their guides. Of special interest is their public forum, The Thorn Tree.
Oanda: 164 Currency Converter
Convert to and from most currencies.
CNN: World Weather
Current and predicted weather for most major cities in the world.
(Also of use for the traveler who's trying to keep on eye on what's going on in the real world is CNN's news page.)
Park Net
The US National Park Service's guide to US parks.
AT&T World
AT&T Access numbers for all over the world. You can charge to a calling card or credit card. I hate to be so commercial but this can be a lifesaver if you're trying to get a call home.
Tyzo.com
"Directory of official travel websites" - it's a comercial site, but it's seems pretty useful and complete (at least where I spot checked).
