Entry:

Spent the morning sitting on the dining room's porch reading - it has a commanding view of the bay and surrounding mountains - even better, it catches the prevailing breezes! The sky had lightened a bit and I decided to take advantage of the light and try to photograph the clams in the MERIP raceways - they have these incredible colored mantles. After diner I made cookies with the girls - ok, I watched and sampled the dough. While I was in their house someone stole all the zories (sandals) that were on their porch - so I lost my thongs. This is a common problem here - last year Stacy had hers stolen from outside our room at The Village, and apparently it happens here at PATS constantly - irritating.
