Sofe and I head out to see Egeskov castle. Somehow (we didn't read the guide book carefully) we managed to miss our station and ended up in Svenborg. A short trip backtracking got us to the castle.

The castle is impressive, it "floats" in the middle of a lake. The surrounding grounds are great. I especially liked the maze.

Took the train back to Odense (where Hans Christian Anderson was born), got a reasonable hotel, and had traditional Dannish food at Den Grimme AElling (The Ugly Duckling).
