First stop was at the Poulnabrone Domen, a fragile looking stone structure some 4000 years old. It's in the middle of The Burren, a surreal wasteland of rock. After surviveing several near accidents (my instincts still aren't used to this driving on the left), where I'd swerve the wrong way, we made it to Ballyvaughan for a well deserved lunch (and an even more well deserved pint).
A brief stop in Galway and it was full speed back to our familiar hostel in Dublin.
