Took it pretty easy since A. I've already been in Amsterdam; and B. Despite the sleeper car I didn't sleep that well on the train. Went to the Anne Frank house which I'd meant to go to last time I was here. The house was a pretty emotionally charged venue. I don't think Anne Frank was the bravest or the most cowardly of the nearly 6 million Jews that were killed, but she is a real face with real documentation that is very powerful. Somehow it's harder to accept the death of on real person than an abstract number.

Had an accidental Prague reunion with 7 or 8 of the people who were staying at the hostel when I was there. Europe is a small continent.
